Dear Michigan Region Members,
 
As you know our friend Barb Bush was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the fall of 2007. Barb has undergone major surgery, chemotherapy and advance radiation to battle this horrible cancer. 
 
I invite you to join Barb's family and friends on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the Detroit Zoo for the PurpleStride Walk. The PurpleStride raises funds and awareness for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Registration opens at 7:30am and opening ceremonies begin at 8:00 am and the walk starts at 8:30 am followed by closing ceremonies at 10:00 am. The Detroit Zoo is the perfect place to walk with family and friends while raising money for pancreatic cancer.
